Description
The MAN KAT1 7t 6x6 bridge transporter of the Bundeswehr in 1:160 scale for N gauge. Since the 1980s this vehicle carried the sections of the FSB folding float bridge and set them into the water at the bank, so the engineers could quickly build a crossing. Fits well parked empty on the bank next to a finished floating bridge or in a convoy on a dike road on the N gauge layout.
The system includes the bridge transporter, ramp sections, center sections and M3 boats, so the bridge can be shown in both transport and deployed form. The 6x6 transporter takes either folded ramp or bridge sections or an M3 boat. Separate bridge and ramp sections can be plugged together and laid in the water on the layout; the empty trucks park alongside and the M3 boats sit in the water.
This product is sold unpainted.
