Description
The model set of the MAN KAT1 7t 6x6 bridge transporter and a folded ramp section of the folding float bridge in 1:160 scale for N gauge. The ramp sections form the approach from the bank onto the bridge and were brought to the water by the Bundeswehr with this vehicle since the 1980s. Great waiting on a riverbank for deployment or on a flat wagon in an engineer train on the N gauge layout.
The system includes the bridge transporter, ramp sections, center sections and M3 boats, so the bridge can be shown in both transport and deployed form. The 6x6 transporter takes either folded ramp or bridge sections or an M3 boat. Separate bridge and ramp sections can be plugged together and laid in the water on the layout; the empty trucks park alongside and the M3 boats sit in the water.
