(N) BTR-40
Description
The BTR‑40 was a standard armoured personnel carrier used by Warsaw Pact forces, including the NVA of the GDR. Based on a 4×4 truck chassis, it featured an open-top troop compartment and could be equipped with a pintle-mounted machine gun. It was typically used for transporting infantry, reconnaissance, and command roles. This 1:160 N‑Scale model is ideal for N‑Gauge Cold War dioramas focused on early Eastern Bloc military vehicles.
