The model of the IFA P3 in 1:160 scale for N gauge shows the off-road vehicle of the NVA and the GDR border troops from 1962. With four-wheel drive it served as a radio, command and liaison vehicle. Fits well at a checkpoint on a border road or in front of the headquarters building of a barracks on the N gauge layout.
