(N) BTR-60 PA

The completely newly designed model of the BTR-60 PA in 1:160 scale for N gauge, designated SPW-60 PA in the NVA. Built from 1963, this version was the first of the series with an armored roof over the troop compartment. Before entering the water, the crew raised a trim vane at the bow to keep waves from washing over the front. In the water, a jet at the rear then pushed the vehicle along. Fits well in a convoy on a tree-lined road or loading onto flat wagons at an end ramp on the N gauge layout.
