(N) BTR-70

The model of the BTR-70 (SPW-70) in 1:160 scale for N gauge. This amphibious armored personnel carrier with eight wheels replaced the BTR-60 in the NVA from the late 1970s, had two gasoline engines and a turret with machine guns, and served with the motorized rifle regiments until 1990. Fits well on flat wagons in a military train or in a convoy along an avenue lined with trees on the N gauge layout.
