Description

The model of the Melkus RS 1000 in 1:160 scale for N gauge, with both gullwing doors open. Heinz Melkus built the low two seater on the frame, engine and gearbox of the Wartburg 353, even the windscreen came from the Wartburg. The gullwing doors, inspired by the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, were also considered practical in the cramped garages of the GDR. Fits well in a workshop or at a classic car meeting on the N gauge layout.
