(N) Melkus RS 1000
Description
The model of the Melkus RS 1000 in 1:160 scale for N gauge, with closed gullwing doors. The only road legal sports car of the GDR was handbuilt in Dresden from 1969 to 1979, just 101 in total. Not everyone was allowed to buy one: anyone who wanted one needed a racing licence from the ADMV motorsport association. Fits well in the paddock of a race track or as a rare eye catcher between Trabant and Wartburg in the parking lot on the N gauge layout.
