(N) M115 Howitzer (Active)

The model shows the M115 howitzer in 1:160 scale for N gauge in active position, meaning in firing position with its split trails spread. The M115 is the later designation of the American 8 inch howitzer M2, and with its 203 mm calibre it belonged to the heavy artillery of the NATO armies during the Cold War. The Bundeswehr and the Dutch army also used it. Impressive in a camouflaged firing position at the edge of the woods or on a military training area beside the track on the N gauge layout.
