Description
This 1:120 TT-scale model depicts the Mil Mi-8, a versatile helicopter widely used in the DDR from the 1960s onward. It served both military and civilian roles: the NVA (National People’s Army) used it for transport and liaison missions, while civilian operators like Interflug and other state agencies deployed it for medical evacuation, rescue missions, surveying, and supply flights to remote areas. Known for its reliability and flexibility, the Mi8 became one of the most common helicopters in East Germany. A great addition to any TT Gauge layout with both military and civilian themes.
This is an unpainted product.
