(N) Volkswagen Schwimmwagen

The model of the Volkswagen Schwimmwagen in 1:160 scale for N gauge. Used by the Wehrmacht from 1942, the vehicle could drive on land and in water and served as a reconnaissance and liaison vehicle with four wheel drive and a folding propeller. It is regarded as the most produced amphibious vehicle of its time. A good fit driving into a river at a shallow spot on the bank or in front of a manor house by the lake on the N gauge layout.
