The Mercedes-Benz L4500 Maultier with canvas cover as a model in 1:160 scale for N gauge. Because wheeled vehicles got stuck in the mud, from 1943 the L4500 received a tracked running gear instead of the rear axle. Under its canvas this half-track carried supplies where normal trucks could go no further. Great on a snowy dirt track or on open freight wagons in a transport train on the N gauge layout.
