(N) M109 A2 (Active)

In active position, with the barrel raised as in a firing position, this model shows the M109 A2 self propelled howitzer in 1:160 scale for N gauge. The American M109 became one of the most widely used self propelled howitzers in NATO and was modernised again and again over the decades. The A2 version received the long 155 mm barrel and more room for ammunition in the turret bustle. In Europe its users included the Netherlands and Italy, among others. A strong scene in a firing position at the edge of a field or during an exercise on a military training area on the N gauge layout.
