(Z) Panzerhaubitze 2000 (Active)

On this model in 1:220 scale for Z gauge, the Panzerhaubitze 2000 of the Bundeswehr stands in active position, with the barrel raised as in a firing position. From 1998 it replaced the M109 in the artillery and brought a much longer 155 mm gun and an automatic loading system. The long barrel makes the howitzer instantly recognisable even in the small Z gauge. Other countries have also introduced the system. Fits well in a position at the edge of the woods during an exercise or on flat wagons during rail loading on the Z gauge layout.
