(Z) M113 Mortar Carrier (Active)

This model in 1:220 scale for Z gauge shows the M113 mortar carrier of the Bundeswehr in active position, just as it stands in position during deployment. In this version, a 120 mm mortar is fitted in the rear compartment of the armoured carrier and fires through a large roof hatch while the crew stays protected inside. The American M113 was one of the most widely built armoured carriers ever and served the Bundeswehr in many special versions. Fits well in a position at the edge of a field track or in front of the vehicle halls of a barracks on the Z gauge layout.
