(Z) Faun SLT-56 Franziska
Description
In 1:220 scale for Z gauge, this model shows the Faun SLT 56 with 56 t lowboy trailer, the heavy tank transporter of the Bundeswehr with the unofficial name “Franziska”. From 1989, 49 vehicles entered service to supplement the SLT 50 Elefant, mainly to carry the heavier Leopard 2. The 8x6 semi truck is built for the road, pulls a Kässbohrer lowboy trailer and has twin headlights at the front. Fits well at a highway rest area or at the side ramp of a military loading station on the Z gauge layout.
