In 1:120 scale for TT gauge, this model shows the Mercedes-Benz T2 709DB as a mobile supermarket in active position, with its sales hatch open for customers. In many villages without a shop of their own, the shop on wheels was the most important place to buy groceries, and its arrival was often eagerly awaited. Bread, milk, fruit and everyday items could be bought right at the front door. The robust T2 offered enough room for a small range of goods and still got through narrow village streets. Fits well on the village square next to the church or at a bus stop in a small hamlet on the TT gauge layout.
