(TT) Mercedes-Benz T2 709D, Aerial Platform (Active)

In 1:120 scale for TT gauge, this model shows the Mercedes-Benz T2 709D aerial platform in active position, with its work basket extended high above the street. The aerial platform on the compact T2 chassis was popular with utility companies and electrical firms, as it could get through narrow residential streets and was quickly ready for work. Whether a broken street light, a loose cable on the overhead line or a branch above the pavement, the work basket took the technicians quickly to the right spot. An eye-catcher while changing a street light in a residential street or pruning trees along an avenue on the TT gauge layout.
