(TT) Marder Roland (Active)

In 1:120 scale for TT gauge, this model shows the Roland air defence missile tank on the Marder chassis in active position, with its search radar raised. From 1981 the system protected units of the Bundeswehr army air defence against low flying aircraft and helicopters. The Roland missile was developed jointly by German and French companies, and the Bundeswehr mounted it on the proven chassis of the Marder infantry fighting vehicle. An eye-catcher in a position at the edge of the woods or in a row of vehicles in front of the halls of a barracks on the TT gauge layout.
