(TT) M270 MLRS (Active)

With its launcher raised, this model shows the M270 MLRS multiple rocket launcher in 1:120 scale for TT gauge in active position, just as it stands in a firing position. The twelve rockets sit in two launch pods that can be swapped as a whole, which speeds up reloading considerably. In service with the Bundeswehr artillery since 1990, its tracked chassis is derived from the American Bradley infantry fighting vehicle. Several other NATO countries also used the system. Fits well on flat wagons in a military train or in a firing position on a military training area on the TT gauge layout.
