(TT) Flakpanzer Gepard (Active)

With its search radar raised and the cannons elevated, the Flakpanzer Gepard stands in active position on this model in 1:120 scale for TT gauge, just as during an exercise in an air defence position. It was based on the chassis of the Leopard 1 tank, fitted with a large turret carrying two 35 mm autocannons and search and tracking radar. From 1976 the Gepard accompanied the armoured units of the Bundeswehr to protect them from air attacks. The turret can rotate. An eye-catcher in a position at the edge of the woods or on flat wagons in a military train on the TT gauge layout.
