The open PTS-M was an amphibious tracked transport vehicle used by Warsaw Pact forces, including the NVA of the GDR. With a wide hull and pontoon-like design, it carried troops, equipment, and light vehicles across rivers and flooded terrain. Renowned for its versatility in reconnaissance and logistical support, it was a cornerstone of Eastern Bloc engineering operations.
