(N) Panzerhaubitze 2000 (Active)

With its barrel raised, the Panzerhaubitze 2000 in 1:160 scale for N gauge stands in active position on this model, just as during an exercise in the firing position. The howitzer was developed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann together with Rheinmetall, which supplied the 155 mm gun with its long barrel. An automatic loading system makes loading the shells considerably faster. Besides the Bundeswehr, other countries also use the system, including Italy. Impressive in a firing position at the edge of the woods or during a demonstration on a military training area on the N gauge layout.
