Description

This 1:160 N Scale model represents the MAN KAT 1 7 t 6×6 truck in service with the Technisches Hilfswerk (THW), Germany’s federal civil protection agency. Developed in the 1970s as part of the Bundeswehr’s high-mobility truck family, the vehicle features all-wheel drive, hub-reduction axles, and a powerful diesel engine. It was designed for demanding off-road conditions and widely used in disaster relief, recovery operations, and logistics support. The THW deployed this variant across Germany for both civil and emergency missions.
