(N) 2A36 Giatsint-B (Active)

In active position, meaning in firing position with its split trails spread, this model shows the 2A36 Giatsint-B in 1:160 scale for N gauge. Giatsint means hyacinth, as many artillery systems in the Soviet Union were given flower names. The heavy 152 mm gun was introduced from the 1970s and, thanks to its long range, served mainly with artillery at higher command levels. A heavy tractor was needed to move it. Fits well in a firing position at the edge of a pine forest or on flat wagons during a rail transport on the N gauge layout.
