Description

This 1:160 N Scale vehicle represents the Iveco Magirus 110‑17 THW multipurpose support truck, used by the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (Technisches Hilfswerk). Built in the early 1980s on a Magirus-Deutz chassis with a six-cylinder air-cooled Deutz diesel engine (~168 hp), it offered 4×4 capability with differential lock and transfer gear. Designed for rugged terrain and heavy-duty civil aid roles, it was deployed in rescue, infrastructure repair, and disaster relief duties. Widely used during Cold War-era civil defence and emergency preparedness operations in Germany.
