(N) Volkswagen LT-50, Feuerwehr TSF-W (Active)

This model in 1:160 scale for N gauge shows the Volkswagen LT 50 as a Tragkraftspritzenfahrzeug with water tank (TSF-W) of the Feuerwehr in active position, just as the vehicle stands at an incident. The LT was the large van from Volkswagen, and thanks to its robust chassis many volunteer fire brigades used it as the base for smaller fire engines. With a portable pump, hoses and its own water tank on board, the crew can start fighting the fire before a water supply has been set up. A lively scene at a fire in a barn in the fields or during an exercise in front of the fire station on the N gauge layout.
