This 1:160 N Scale model represents the IFA W50 Polizei variant, an East German police multipurpose truck built on the robust W50 chassis. Produced between 1965 and 1990 at the Ludwigsfelde plant, the W50 Polizei served the Volkspolizei, the uniformed national police force of the GDR, often featuring a crew cab for patrols or mobile command roles. Derived from the same platform as firefighting and military versions, it was praised for its rugged versatility across law enforcement duties.
